Resellers can,,, TBH.

We all have that one thing, group, or idea that is just... the bane of our existences. I mean not even just a pet peeve but like something that truly, as Peter Griffin poses, you know what really grinds my gears? I know we all may have multiple ones but the current killing of my vibe? Resellers.

I know that just about anyone who has been in the game since after 2011 can relate but imagine being here in a time period when they were not even such a thing. Now I will play devil's advocate will the hype and away from it but I want to start with my personal belief that it diminishes the culture.

Slightly off topic but still on brand, if you watch this video you will see RichMaze speaking on how he's been in the Supreme gang since '02 and now he can't even get a hold of a breath of air from the shop.

I firmly believe in the fact that it has changed the game for the worse. Now I will get into Stadium Goods and Flight Club and all of those on the flip side but right now I can say wholeheartedly that it played a part in me stopping my collection. Why do I hold this belief? Because in 2012 or so I slept outside for a pair of Jordan's. Not only that but I didn't get my size and instead of buying a pair not in my size and flipping them, like people so rudely yelled at me "For being dumb for not doing." I walked outside and heard a kid say he got 3 pairs of size 8's, my size, and that he already found a buyer for $200 above retail. When I got home that morning I showered, took a nap, and when I woke up I started texting people that I am out of the game.

Obviously, I am not so weak minded and such a loser that this one L crushed every dream I ever had but the game had been changing for a long while and this was the final straw.

Now on the flip, I know this is a billion dollar game now. I understand the higher end "resellers" and how they can profit and make it a business, I am an entrepreneur after all. But if you are buying a pair for $190 just to make anything less than $200... find a new hobby. Imagine wasting time, money, and gas, just to make a quick buck. Now I know I said I would refute here but, that's firmly against everything I believe in.
